Nottingham Central Library
Tickets: £10.00
The evening of Saturday 21 March sees the return of Nottingham Central Library's flagship cabaret night, Sound at Central. For the spring edition, they'll be celebrating the international festival of Contemporary Music for All (CoMA) with the East Midlands CoMA ensemble and their show, 'A sense of (p)Lace – A Celebration of Nottingham Lace in Music, Art and Words.'
Showcasing a collaboration between visual artist Katy Gillam-Hull, and composer Matthew Gilley, the evening itself will demonstrate how patterns created in lace can be translated into musical scores, presenting the world premiere of Gilley's lace-led piece, 'Threads and Levers.' Supported by local poetry collective, DIY poets, this event promises to celebrate music, art, and words and the power of co-creation.
