About

Thursday evening from 8th May | 2025 | 7:30pm - 9pm

Broadway Cinema

Price: £75 full / £60 members / £65 concessions / £50 under 25s

Join fellow film enthusiasts to watch and talk about films in Broadway's popular, interactive Talk Cinema course. You'll watch a specially selected film from our cinema programme at your convenience once a fortnight, then meet with the group on alternate weeks for an in-depth discussion of the previous week's film. Course tutor Andrew Graves will moderate the sessions and provide additional insights and analysis.

The fortnightly films (5 in total) will be specially chosen from Broadway's film programme by our course tutor, who will aim to make varied selections to encourage discussion and possibly broaden your film-watching habits too.

You'll be sent details about the introductory meeting before the first screening in Week 1 after you sign up. Once the film to be discussed is announced on the noticeboard, you can go online (or reserve your ticket at the Box Office) and choose whichever date and screening time suits you best to watch the film in advance of the next discussion session. The group then meets in person every fortnight to discuss the film you've watched.

Please see website for discussion session dates.
