Welcome to The HK Experience celebration event!

Join the University of Nottingham for a fun and creative research and community project celebration event Nottingham Central Library - children library section (ground floor).

The HK experience project is funded by AHRC IAA at University of Nottingham. In collaborating with Nottingham Central Library, Visit Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City Council, this project aims to support Nottingham in becoming a UNICEF Child-Friendly and inclusive society. Focusing on the growing population of HK immigrants, this project will document the collective memories of this underrepresented community to develop publicly available collections.

Join for a vibrant celebration event showcasing the project's progress, featuring distinguished speeches. We'll also present the HK experience documentary, highlighting how new HK immigrants are settling in Nottingham and contributing to making it a more inclusive and child-friendly place to live and work.

Agenda:
- Welcoming by Robin Hood & registration
- Speech by HK experience team, project partners and speakers
- Food, cultural and art experience
- Documentary

If you have any questions, please contact HKExperience@nottingham.ac.uk. One of the team members will answer your inquries shortly.
