Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre
Free Event (car parking charges apply)
You don't have to be a fool to join in the Fools' Parade at Sherwood Forest – but it helps!
After being stripped of his powers over Christmas, the Sheriff of Nottingham will again take control of the ancient greenwood at this traditional ceremony, repealing the amnesty he granted to the Outlaws.
Will Robin Hood and his merry band make good their escape before the Sheriff is able to set his forces on the hunt for the outlaws once again?
This is a free event, although there may be a small charge for some activities. Parking costs just £5 per vehicle per day at Sherwood for non-RSPB members, and helps the RSPB to carry out its vital conservation work, but there is no admission charge to enter the reserve.
