Join singer-songwriter and storyteller Alison Solomon in this immersive and interactive masterclass into the power of the protest song or song of freedom. Explores ways of writing powerful song lyrics and memorable melodies as we walk outside as a group through this beautiful park. For WALK. SING. FREEDOM! Participants are encouraged to share what they have created at the end of the session by reading their lyrics, performing their song, or just simply enjoying the wealth of creativity.
Activities are free, but booking is required.
This event is part of the Pods in the Park event at King Edward Park, Sneinton. In partnership with S.H.E.D and The Renewal Trust, the National Justice Museum will be hosting a series of workshops and activities on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, and Sunday 21st of August.
