Ceilidhs (pronounced "Kay-leas") are enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl.
People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between.
Enjoy some traditional Scottish dancing at Willoughby on the Wolds Village Hall on Saturday 14th May for a fun night of ceilidh dancing, to raise funds for the Willoughby Bowls Club.
Doors open at 7pm, and you will enjoy a light ploughman's style supper with the dancing starting at 8 pm. There will be a break at 9.15 for pudding then back on the dance floor till 11 pm.
Tickets are £20 and will be available right up till 7 pm.
There will be no band, just an announcer with recorded music. Very ceilidh retro ✨
Wear something comfortable to dance in.
You don't need to know what to do –Schuggie (from @Schuggies-Ceilidhs) will be calling the dances and explaining what you need to do as you go along. There are lots of friendly folks to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing
