This is an opportunity for people to step back in time and join Reverend John T. Becher, founder of The Workhouse, on a tour of Southwell. Participants follow Becher on a historical 2 mile walking tour of Southwell as he highlights his connections as a churchman, magistrate and social reformer during a period of great economic, social and political change and with one of its famous inhabitants, the poet Lord Byron.

Please Note

- Please dress for the weather and have sturdy footwear suitable for walking on pavements and footpaths.
- Places are limited. Book online to secure your free place. Admission applies to the Workhouse.
- The walk starts at The Workhouse visitor car park and is a free event.
