Other events in the Yoga Sound Movement series take place:
Sat 29 Feb, 18 Apr, 11.30am-12.30pm
Join us for an uplifting and calming morning gathering that focuses on yoga, breathwork, sound and relaxation.
The Yoga Sound Movement series travels upwards through the seven chakras using breathwork, simple movement, and body postures that can take place standing, seated or lying down, allowing relaxation and meditation. Each of the seven chakras is associated with a seed sound – simple chants that are easy to pronounce and bring a sense of calm and presence. In these sessions, you can choose to listen or join in, inviting gentle vibrations into the group. Each session can be adapted for different levels of experience and is open to anyone aged 17 and above. No experience of yoga is necessary.
This session explores sense of ease, confidence and outward direction at the core of the Solar Plexus chakra. Focusing on this chakra helps to improve self-confidence and resilience. Located in the middle of the belly, this is often where we tend to feel knots of anxiety and uncertainty.
Sound for Solar Plexus chakra - RAM (pronounced as rum)
Location: The pit of the stomach, in line with the small intestine.
£10 per session, or three sessions for £25. Tickets are available for purchase online. Book for the three sessions.
If you have a yoga mat, please bring one along. Seating, spare mats and hearing loops are available. The series will be made available to participants through short video sequences for home learning.
