SimSpot’s 737 Simulator is a fixed based training device based on the 737-800NG. It is located in the centre of Nottingham at The Cornerhouse, just a few miles from Nottingham East Midlands Airport. The simulator is a complete replica of the inside of the Boeing 737 cockpit and every dial, button, switch and instrument is fully functional, just like in a real aircraft. The Simulator is controlled from their instructor station where variations can be made to factors such as the weather, position, time of day, fuel loads, re-positioning, recording approaches, and simulating faults such as engine failures at all speeds, avionic and hydraulic failures.
