We are making a concerted effort not to bombard you with Christmas events in our What's On This Weekend, but as there's so many great festive things to do in Nottinghamshire we had to throw a few in.
Nottingham's historic houses are top of our festive-o-meter scale this weekend as traditional Christmas fun kicks off in the beautiful historic surroundings of Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Hall, with the man in red handing out pressies, children's trails and activities, and festive fayre for grown-ups. Don't miss free entry to Nottingham Castle this week when you bring a valid lottery ticket, and The Woolly Tellers presenting the Christmas Tales at Wollaton Hall on Saturday.
There’s many more events on our What’s On calendar, so make sure to have a gander, or read on to check out our favourite things to do this weekend…
Don’t forget, if you are out having a great time in Nottinghamshire, you can use #lovenotts to share the love and connect with us via our Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.
