Created by the people who bought you Iberico World Tapas and Bar Iberico, Taquero { Tah - Keh - Ro } is Nottingham's NEW Taco Restaurant.
Open Tuesday - Saturday, 11.30 am - 10 pm, Taquero is nested in the heart of Hockley on Heathcoat Street, in one of Nottingham's old lace buildings, the restaurant features a large glass frontage encased in pale pink frames and green bi-folding doors. The interior boasts stripped-back textured walls with plants cascading from hanging pots, wall features, and scattered around the restaurant.
High and low tables fill the intimate area with a long open planned kitchen on one side, showing off its fire pit with a spit-grilling trompo twirling on full display for customers, and a fully stocked tequila and mezcal bar on the other side.
Experience a taste of Mexico with an ever-changing food menu filled with an array of antojitos, homemade salsa with totopos, street-food style sides and almost a dozen different mouthwatering tacos!
The taste sensations don't stop at their dishes, with a loaded drinks menu full of crafted cocktails, shelves of tequila & mezcal, cerveza micheladas, authentic-style Mexican hot chocolate, and a collection of uncommon wines - there's something for everyone!
