One of Nottingham’s most loved, legendary establishments, The Angel has a wealth of history. Since first opening its rustic doors back in the 1700’s, the venue has seen its fair share of rowdy gatherin’s and shady happenin’s. This 'proper pub’ with its charming interior, striking exposed brickwork and signature blue shades has long been a cherished meeting point for outlaws and odd fellows.
The venue hosts all manner of events, from intimate gigs to club nights and all-day festivals. With DJs spinning records in the main bar all weekend, monthly Folk Music Jams, Poetry Open Mic Nights in The Chesterfield Lounge and live gigs in The Chapel, The Angel is a perfect place to meet up with friends and family, enjoy a tasty meal on a a day out or a cold pint of a local brew at a show.
