Hart's Hotel

Hart's Hotel, nestled on the ramparts of the medieval castle in a secluded and tranquil location, has 30 rooms and 2 suites. Most of the rooms have stunning views over the Nottinghamshire landscape. It is a unique refuge from the busy and bustling city centre, and offers unrivalled service.
The rooms are modern and comfortable and designed to be calm and contemporary spaces, offering the perfect place to unwind after a day of business or a day of sightseeing. All rooms are extremely well appointed, and comfort is never sacrificed for design. All have private bars, laptop friendly coded safes (with power point for charging inside the safe), 24-inch televisions with satellite channels and free WIFI.
With beautifully appointed bathrooms, indulge in a long soak in the bath or a quick shower, and be pampered with the complimentary L’Occitane toiletries.
24-hour room service is available, and all tea and coffee trays have fresh milk, ground coffee and high-quality teas.
Combined with extremely comfortable handmade beds, tranquil location and goose down duvets and pillows, you are ensured a restful night’s sleep. Guests can also enjoy the small gym, secure parking and private garden.
The spacious superior family room offers ample space for a family break in Nottingham. This room can sleep up to four with additional beds added when required. There is also an adjoining room, so you can keep an eye on the kids but have a bit of time to yourselves, too.
The stunning garden rooms boast the same high-quality features as the classic and superior rooms with the added benefit of French doors leading out to the private and secluded garden, where guests can enjoy alfresco dining out in the fresh air.
Alongside the fine selection of wines and drinks you will also find food served throughout the day in Hart’s Kitchen. Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, snacks as well as Afternoon Tea which is served daily from 3pm until 5pm, a decadent treat not to be missed!
The menu has been developed by Aaron Patterson from sister hotel Michelin-star Hambleton Hall in Rutland. Using locally sourced produce to create a seasonal menu, expect to enjoy traditional British dishes such as Roast fillet of hake, served with cavolo nero, creamed potato, charred leaks, hazelnuts & confit garlic; Hart's pasta, served with butternut squash, black garlic, cavolo nero & burrata cheese; Chocolate fondant served with ice cream.
