Lavender Cottage

About

Lavender Cottage is a recently refurbished holiday cottage located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.  This two bedroom detached cottage (dating from c.1798) backs onto parkland,  has a courtyard location with space outside to dine alfresco and there are lots of beautiful countryside walks right on the doorstep.

Situated in the middle of the UK Southwell is a characterful and picturesque traditional market town is often referred to as "The jewel in Nottinghamshire’s crown”. Southwell’s location makes it a really convenient place to stay when en route to another destination as well as for short breaks whilst exploring Nottinghamshire, Newark and Lincoln.

Lavender Cottage is a short walk through the tree lined park to the centre of town, making it ideal for walkers and cyclists alike; the many shops, restaurants, cosy cafes, friendly pubs and garden centres are all within walking distance. Learn more of the Bramley Apple story, Lord Byron, King Charles and follow the heritage walks through the town to discover the Workhouse, owned by the National Trust or back a winner at Southwell Racecourse!
