The Nottingham Panthers are the only professional ice hockey team in the East Midlands.
Playing out of the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Panthers games provide a family-friendly atmosphere like no other, whether you’re looking to start your night with something different or spend some time with the family.
The action is fast, non-stop, and physical as the Panthers battle it out with teams across the Elite Ice Hockey League for the points that will take them to the top of the standings and put them in contention for the league title when the season ends.
The Panthers are the most successful team in the modern EIHL era and have a proud spot in Nottingham’s sporting history, as well as representing the city in Europe – winning the 2017 Continental Cup to become the first British ice hockey team ever to lift a major European trophy. The Panthers are the reigning Elite League Playoff Champions after beating the Cardiff Devils in the thrilling 2025 final.
