Thoresby Park, within the heart of Nottinghamshire, is a lovely place to visit all year round with a range of attractions for all the family no matter how young or old. The extensive grounds cover over 1000 acres of rich unspoilt English countryside, with a range of facilities and attractions open to the public all year round.

Whether you are visiting to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, interested in the Gallery, planning a wedding or special occasion, staging an outdoor event, there is something for everyone. Visit the Victorian Courtyard and you'll find working crafts people, shops, licensed restaurant and coffee shop, military museum and the acclaimed Gallery featuring regional, national and international artists.

Car parking is £3.00 all day. You can also purchase an annual season pass for £40.00 with a £5.00 security deposit from the Visitor Centre. There is disabled parking and electric charging points.

You will also find The A.I.R-ing Cupboard upstairs which is a gallery and gift shop, airing the work of Thoresby’s Artists in Residence (Access from the stairs opposite the toilets).

Ingrid Pears Hot Glass Studio

Ingrid Pears MBE creates each piece individually using the finest crystal glass. Precious metals and oxides are used to achieve the rich vibrant colours and purity of design which is associated with the name 'Ingrid Pears'. Please note that Ingrid’s opening times vary.

The Courtyard Restaurant and The Courtyard Coffee Shop

A fully licensed coffee shop with a wide range of delicacies from continental dishes to cream teas. Seating indoors and outdoors in the amazing scenery. Pre-theatre dinner bookings and intermission drinks available. The Courtyard Coffee Shop is new for 2020 serving you up the best coffee and cake, come and try it for yourself.

Thoresby's Pierrepont Gallery

Thoresby Gallery was originally established in 1992 as a space in which to show the Pierrepont Collection. Over the years it has evolved into a busy gallery with an eclectic calendar of exhibitions. Thoresby Courtyard welcomes 80,000 visitors a year. Open six days a week 10.00am – 4.00pm the gallery always has something interesting to engage a wide audience. Thoresby Gallery’s Open Exhibitions have been encouraging local artists and providing a beautiful space in which to exhibit since the early days and now Thoresby are seeking to include all artists, both professional and amateur working in the area with regular opportunities to get involved. (Please note, the gallery may be closed during change arounds so call ahead on 01623 822009 to avoid disappointment).
