Join Nottingham Contemporary for an introductory workshop to fundamental painting and illustration techniques led by Woosun Choi, inviting you to explore your own visual language through practice.
The session will focus on the essentials of brushwork, layering, texture, and composition — learning how to translate ideas and emotions into visual form.
You will be encouraged to observe closely, engage intuitively, and develop technical confidence while discovering the expressive potential of paint.
