South African chromatic harmonica virtuoso and pianist Adam Glasser performances include Martha Reeves, Jimmy Witherspoon, Sting, The Eurythmics, Incognito, Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Hugh Masekela and Abdullah Ibrahim as well as collaborations with many prominent UK based jazz musicians.
His band's distinctive material – as evidenced by the acclaimed albums 'Free at First' (2010 South African Musical Award Best Modern Jazz Album) and 'Mzansi' (nominated 2012 SAMA Best Jazz Album) – explore lesser known South African jazz compositions as well as the repertoire of Toots Thielemans with whom Adam shared the credits on the feature film 'Hard Rain'.
