Alfie Sharp announces his long awaited first headline show to celebrate the release of his debut EP 'Home Truths' due March 15th 2024. Nottingham born and bred, Sharp recognises his love for music comes from his family and the place he's from. Growing up taking refuge in the likes of Nina Simone, Lily Allen and The Beatles, the ritz and rubble of classic voices and glamour often proved a safe haven for Alfie. Surviving and thriving on the margins of a Nottingham council estate where he grew up, Alfie developed a keen ear and eye for his own culture and space. Writing songs and weaving stories of corruption and excess that rival golden-age Hollywood drama and of classical British kitchen sink dramas, Alfie has created a special body of work that wields his infection, aesthetic and sense of self with guile beyond his years.
