Whispers of Rain is a bold collaboration between Alina Bzhezhinska and Tulshi, (released on Tru Thoughts, July 2025), reimagining the harp through the lens of electronics and live sound design. Blurring the lines between tradition and innovation, they create a new sonic language — intimate, cinematic, and deeply moving.

For this special album launch, they are joined by the legendary Tony Kofi, whose powerful saxophone voice brings new colours to their soundscape. Together, they invite you into a world where ancient strings meet futuristic textures, and where every note tells a story.
There will be a signing of the album after the show.

Alina Bzhezhinska
Undoubtedly one of the leading harpists in the world today, Alina Bzhezhinska (a.k.a. AlinaHipHarp) is a one-woman powerhouse on a mission to bring harp to the forefront of contemporary sound.

Bzhezhinska is the creator of HipHarpCollective, who recently won the Parliamentary Jazz Award's Best Ensemble of the Year 2024. The group's double LP Reflections (BBE Music) won Best Album Of The Year 2023 by Preston Music and Alina Bzhezhinska's Quartet was nominated for Best Live Act of the Year at JazzFM Awards 2017. A composer, innovator and collaborator, she worked alongside legendary artists including Brian Jackson, Chaka Khan, Shabaka Hutchings, Ganavya, DJ Spinna and Sly Johnson.

Tulshi
Tulshi has built a reputation for his distinctive blend of minimal, deep tech, dubby techno and ambient textures. His most recent endeavour; The Hub Ibiza Studios, has hosted sessions for artists such as Nathan Haines, Dennis Cruz, Joseph Capriati, Ben Sterling, East End Dubs and Skepta. His expertise as a mix engineer has seen him lend his touch to records for Louie Vega, Riva Starr, Tom Nolan and Christopher Coe, ensuring their productions translate seamlessly to global audiences. With releases on respected labels including Atjazz Record Company, Seven Villas, Voodoo & Prayers, Vandalism and Ubiquity, Tulshi's work has garnered recognition from tastemakers including Steve Bug, Jimpster, Dwson and Atjazz. Outside the studio, he curates Dubliminal, a monthly show on Openlab Radio, where he explores the intersections of deep tech, minimal and dub-techno.
