Declared 'The coolest rock star in the world right now' by Uncut, Arooj Aftab occupies a singular space in contemporary music, blending Jazz, Minimalism, South Asian musical traditions and Avant-Pop.
In 2024, she released her fourth solo album, Night Reign (Verve), to Universal Acclaim, earning a Grammy Nomination for Best Alternative Jazz Album. Its centrepiece 'Raat Ki Rani' was also nominated for best Global Music Performance.
She has delivered rapturous performances at major venues and festivals including Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, and Coachella, and has appeared on NPR's Tiny Desk, The Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert, and later... with Jools Holland.
She continues to build a singular body of work, establishing as a leading voice in contemporary music.
