Come and join us in this fun festive Christmas Willow Wreath making workshop. Spend a relaxing session with family and friend, enjoying a glass of wine and making a beautiful wreath for your home. The perfect start to decorating your home this festive season. You'll be nice and cosy in our relaxing craft barn, admiring the beautiful views of the Nottinghamshire countryside outside the window.
Your tutor Jean will guide you through step by step to show you how to build your wreath frame using willow, then decorate it using a selection of foraged foliage and cuttings.
What is included – Wine and mince pies are included long with tools and materials.
What to bring – materials will be provided for you to make your wreath. You may want to bring some of your own garden cuttings, anything evergreen is perfect. You can also bring your own baubles, bows and glittery things to personalise your wreath.
We know some people like to use their own tool so if you would like to then bring any of the following – Secateurs, scissors, natural string/garden string, a sharp penknife or Stanley knife, garden gloves and a pinny too if you wish.
Perfect for beginners with no experience or skill.
Outline of your session:
- Welcome with refreshments and meet your tutor Jean
- Introduction to tools and materials
- Select your cuttings and start creating your wreath
- Wine & refreshments break
- Personalise your wreath with decorations and cuttings
- Finish and depart with you beautiful wreath ready for hanging in your home
- To ensure the quality of your personal experience, group size will be limited to 10.
