Cool Company is a dance improvisation ensemble for people aged 55 and over based in Nottingham Contemporary. Referencing the current exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary, the group explore and develop relationships between visual arts and movement. Key to these workshops is the integration of social and creative elements which empower the work of the group. Workshops are facilitated by Deane McQueen, professional choreographer/ director and Backlit Gallery studio artist.
Spring term workshops will take place in The Space at Nottingham Contemporary on the following dates:
Mon 9 Jun 2pm-4pm
Mon 16 Jun 2pm-4pm
Mon 30 Jun 2pm-4pm
The cost for the series of workshops will be provided on application. New members can confirm payment following the first session.

Designed specifically for/ with people aged 55+
No prior dance/movement experience required
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing with bare feet, non-slip socks or light flexible footwear; lockers are available on-site and bathrooms are available to change in if required
