Dean Stockdale is a highly regarded jazz pianist, arranger and composer based in the North of England who is known for his sensitive, swinging style. Dean returns with a programme featuring music from his acclaimed album Celebrating Oscar, alongside material from his forthcoming new release.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Dean Stockdale is renowned for his sensitive touch, effortless swing, and deep roots in the American mainstream jazz tradition. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Mulgrew Miller and Gene Harris, Dean has earned widespread praise through three critically acclaimed album releases and regular appearances at many of the UK's premier jazz venues.

Formed in 2022, the Dean Stockdale Quartet has rapidly established itself as one of the UK's most exciting straight-ahead jazz groups, undertaking two successful UK tours and performing internationally in Belgium, France and Ireland.
Following the success of his celebrated tribute performances to Oscar Peterson, Dean returns with a programme featuring music from his acclaimed album Celebrating Oscar, alongside material from his forthcoming new release. Expect fresh arrangements of classic standards, original compositions, and the swinging interplay that has become the quartet's hallmark.
