National Holocaust Centre & Museum

Hedi Argent MBE will be offering a Family Learning Workshop as part of a summer of events.

Hedi came to Britain as a refugee from Austria, escaping Nazi persecution. Hedi's talk explores many themes such as: friendship, becoming a refugee as a child and how we can support modern day refugees. These themes and more will be explored with Hedi and an educator.

Hedi will speak to families and the public from 1-2pm after which the family workshop will follow 2.15-2.45. Families are invited to engage with Hedi's artefacts, take part in craft activities and have the opportunity to ask Hedi questions about her experience.

Admission and additional event ticket applies.
Special rate for family event ticket includes the workshop.
