17th February - Science at The NVA
Be wowed by a demonstration about how we can use magnets to change the way our brains work, find out first-hand what makes materials waterproof, learn the maths behind how to win at roulette and get interactive with a game about light and gravity.
17th February - Escape The Lab: Physics Escape Room Game
An international crisis, and this lab contains the only means of survival. But you’re trapped in here, and running out of time. Can you escape the lab – and save the world? Pit your team against our physics-themed puzzles – you’ll have to work together to discover the room’s secrets and overcome its challenges!
You’ll need to arrive 15 minutes before your allocated slot in order to receive your safety briefing. At no time will you be physically locked inside the room and you can leave at any point. Some of the puzzles will involve physical manipulation of the objects found within the room – if this may be a problem for you, please let us know in advance.
Suitable for ages 12+. Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult | Booking essential | Tickets: £15 per group of 4-5
18th February - Accessible Day at The NVA
The house music will be switched off, the volume on the arcade games turned down where possible, and there will be extra free science activities!
This activity welcomes children and families with special educational needs and disability.
