As part of Nottingham Comedy Festival, Flippers is a riotous two-hander about lodgers Karl and Gary. Their elderly landlady offers them a once-in-a-lifetime deal: renovate her crumbling London home, sell it at a profit and split the cash. But Gary is a micro-managing control freak, and Karl has already blown their non-existent budget on scatter cushions and exotic pets.
Directed by Adam Colborne (Ted Lasso), this whip-smart new comedy marks a long-awaited return to the stage for comedy duo Kyle Eaton and Daryll Sidney, performing live together for the first time in over a decade. Fresh from its debut at Brighton Fringe, it is a play bursting with heart about loneliness, chosen family and chaos. Age 14+.
