Hanwell Wine Estate
Tickets - £69 per person
Come and join Hanwell Wine Estate in this fantastic workshop and create your own handmade glass flowers. Spend time relaxing and enjoy your creativity flow while trying something new. Your tutor Katherine will guide you through the process step by step, giving you the opportunity to get hands-on with your glass creation.
You will learn to cut glass and once you have your flower shape you will then use a wide variety of accessory glass including glassline paint, crushed glass and glass rods to decorate your flowers. The final stage is making the mould to create its unique shape. Your flower will then be fired and fitted with a copper stem for you to position in your garden or place in a vase.
Perfect for beginners, glass cutting is involved. You will make two unique flowers, one clear glass and one a colour of your choice, 9cm in diameter and 30cm in height.
