Grain Mother is the new atmospheric indie-folk project formerly known as Alice Robbins.

Following the acclaimed success of two solo EPs (Lavender Honey, Wilted), a headline UK Tour in 2021 and almost 2 millions streams on Spotify, Grain Mother now allows for a new beginning, much like the grain – this is a fresh canvas, soon to be harvested.

The signature pristine, angelic vocal is now accompanied by the nous of drummer, and up-and-coming producer Cam Worne (Summerhouse Studios, Catmilk, Jiminil) who also accompanies with thick, velvet harmonies. In composition Grain Mother's sound can be as jagged as it is sweet, jazz inflections on delicate folk-inspired melodies hint at a polluted melancholy, with James Hughes' colossal guitar sound adding a density to these pure birthed songs.

They are now shaped into something unique, both piercing and uplifting, held together by Deri Sharmans clean cut basslines (Deri Sharman, Catmilk).
