GRINDR the Opera!

About

Thursday 10 0 Saturday 12 September 2026 | 7.30pm
Nottingham Arts Theatre
Tickets: £18 - £30

Winner of Best New Musical at the Off West End Awards, Grindr: The Opera! is exactly what it sounds like, and gloriously, unapologetically more.

Peter Bull for Above The Stag Theatre brings the world's most notorious gay hook-up app to life as a mythical siren from remote antiquity, awoken from millennia of slumber by the power of modern technology and fuelled entirely by human lust.

Spanning musical styles from baroque to contemporary pop, the show takes a daring, wickedly funny look at the changing landscape of gay relationships and the app that rewrote the rules. Bold, brilliant and sung in soaring soprano - this is opera as you've absolutely never seen it before.
