Start the bank holiday weekend in Nottingham with an intimate, close-up night of live comedy at Laceworks Laughs, hosted at ARC Space in the heart of the city centre. With just 50 seats available, this Nottingham comedy night offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where audiences can enjoy high-quality stand-up just a few feet from the stage.
The evening features a strong line-up of professional comedians from the UK circuit. Headlining is Martin Davis, known for his dry wit, sharp observational humour and natural stage presence. Having performed extensively across the UK, South Africa and Australia, he brings a confident and engaging style that consistently connects with audiences.
Opening the night is David Eagle, an award-winning comedian and musician whose inventive mix of musical comedy, dark humour and unexpected twists has earned widespread acclaim. He is a winner of Edinburgh's Spirit of the Fringe and Leicester Comedy Festival's Best Variety Show, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4 and Rosie Jones' Disability Comedy Extravaganza.
Also appearing are Kirsty Munro and Tharun Chelley, two exciting acts on the UK comedy circuit, bringing fresh material and strong performances to the line-up.
