South Korean pansori band LEENALCHI, has taken the online world by storm with their unique musical creation, 'Tiger Is Coming'. With a unique blend of danceable groove and musical storytelling, 'Sugungga' has gained millions of views, captivating audiences worldwide. The bassist and producer of LEENALCHI is a highly acclaimed figure in the contemporary Korean music scene, Jang Young Gyu. Renowned as both a music director and a talented bassist, Jang has led numerous outstanding bands, including the unforgettable Uhuhboo Project and the mesmerizing Ssing Ssing, who transformed the Southbank Centre into a dynamic and vibrant dance hall in 2018.

Last year marked LEENALCHI's triumphant London debut with their shows at The Coronet Theatre as part of 'Tiger Is Coming Tour 2022', a remarkable celebration of contemporary Korean art, performance, and culture. Their groundbreaking approach to music, blending electrifying rap and breathtaking vocal performances, combined with a focus on bass and drums, earned them three prestigious awards at the 18th Korean Music Awards, including Musician of the Year and Best Modern Rock Song.

Following their sensational performances in Europe in 2022, LEENALCHI is now set to captivate audiences at renowned festivals worldwide including Roskilde, Pohoda, Womad and the FMM festival in Portugal. LEENALCHI's highly anticipated new album is set to be released this autumn. The K-Music Festival will serve as the stage for the premiere of their new songs, providing an exclusive opportunity for attendees to be among the first to experience their latest creations in the UK.

"LEENALCHI's modern take on traditional music was employed for the Korea Tourism Organisation 'Feel the Rhythm of Korea' video series and the band won three prizes at the Korean Music Awards in 2021 for Musician of the Year, Best Modern Rock Song, and Best Jazz andCrossover Album". – Forbes

This show is part of LEENALCHI's first UK tour presented by the K-Music Festival 2023 in celebration of its 10th-year anniversary.
