Come and make a personalise and useful plant hanger at this macrame workshop. Your expert tutor Sally will take you through step by step teaching you the different knot techniques offering tips and tricks of the craft. The workshop will take place in our 100sqm converted barn space located at Hanwell Wine Estate where you will relax and be inspired by the beautiful view.
What you will learn:
. Start with learning about the different types of cord typically used for macrame projects and which cords work best for which piece.
. Learn how to measure for your project and give hints and tips to help during the creating process.
. Learn a few different ways to attach the plant hanger to its hanging ring.
. A variety of knots including – the larks head, square, spiral, crown and wrap knot. These can be used in further projects too.
. Once the hanger is finished you will learn a few different techniques that are commonly used to complete projects.
Who is the workshop for– suitable for complete beginners.
What is included – All tools and materials are included along with refreshments.
Please note – If you have a specific plant pot in mind for the plant hanger, please bring it with you on the day so that we can make sure it fits.
