Live music in Broadway's Mezz Bar from 6–7pm
Musician and spoken word artist Marcus Joseph will perform a jazz set charged with the righteous energy of reggae music.
His debut album 'Beyond the Dome' (Jazz Refreshed) effortlessly blends jazz, reggae and hip hop with contemporary music - the spirited Alto Saxophonist possesses the gift to uplift!
A seasoned live performer, Marcus Joseph has been known to bring the noise as part of hip hop/rock/punk influenced jazz trio Major Ruse; has supported the likes of Oscar Jerome, Blue Lab Beats and The Blackbyrds; as well as playing alongside luminaries such as Dennis Rollins, Tony Kofi, Arun Ghosh, Dave O'Higgins, Abram Wilson, Gary Crosby and Eska.

JAZZ MAZE VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE FROM 5–8PM
Drop in at any time between 5–8pm. Age guidance 12+.
Broadway's Mezz Bar can be found on the first floor.
The VR experience lasts approximately 15 minutes and it will be a drop-in session - first come first served, no advance booking required.
Alongside the live music set by Marcus Joseph in the Mezz Bar, there will be the opportunity to experience Marcus' Virtual Reality piece 'Jazz Maze'.
Jazz Maze is an interactive, immersive comic book experience for Virtual Reality, supported by Broadway's Near Now Ideas Fund.
You'll experience Jazz Maze with the aid of a Virtual Reality headset. No prior experience of Virtual Reality technology is necessary. Experienced facilitators will be there to support you.
Presented by Near Now, Broadway's studio for arts, design and innovation. Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
