Attendees are invited to participate in a captivating exploration of New World versus Old World wines, encompassing a range of exceptional reds, whites, and roses hailing from the dynamic, emerging wine-producing regions of the New World, while drawing comparisons to the time-honored classics of the Old World.
This event will delve into the essence of the warmer regions that typify the New World, seeking to uncover the distinguishing factors that classify them as such. Are these distinctions solely based on geographical location, or is it the infusion of cutting-edge production methods and technological innovations that set them apart?
Intriguingly, participants will have the opportunity to taste the Old World counterparts from renowned regions where wine is traditionally produced using more conventional methods. A delightful challenge emerges as attendees ponder which style resonates more with their palates.
The event features a blind tasting of six distinct wines, accompanied by light refreshments. The ultimate aim is to test one's ability to discern between the New World and Old World wines without the bias of knowing their origins.
