Learn the art of capturing the unique likeness and character of an animal you love at this fantastic beginner's workshop with the exceptionally talented artist Sarah. The workshop is held in our comfortable, cosy heated barn, that offers inspiring views of the beautiful countryside of one of Nottinghamshire's finest vineyards. You will spend 3.5 hours relaxing and enjoy learning a new skill, while Sarah guides you through step by step showing you how to apply soft pastels with expressively identifying marks to capture his or her unique character, by the end of the session; you will have ideally completed your piece.
All materials, tools and refreshments are included but you will need to bring a good A4 photo of what you would like to draw, further details.
Outline of your time:
Welcome with refreshments and introduction to your tutor Sarah
You will start by sketching your image in pencil
After a short practice with the pastels, you will start on your picture
Enjoy a short break with light refreshments and snack
Pinpoint key identifying marks and features to capture pet's uniqueness
By the end of your session, you will have completed your art work.
