From Sonny Rollins to John Coltrane, Lester Young to Hank Mobley, we pay tribute to these giants of jazz, Join us in exploring the contribution the tenor saxophone made to the 1950s, arguably the most important decade in jazz.

Join us in exploring the contribution the tenor saxophone made to the 1950s, arguably the most important decade in jazz.
In the 1950s, players like John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins broke new ground in jazz, infusing their music with rhythm and blues, modal, Latin and gospel influences as part of the hard bop subgenre.

From Sonny Rollins to John Coltrane, Lester Young to Hank Mobley, we pay tribute to these giants of jazz.
