Before the Holocaust, Poland had the largest Jewish population of any European country. Nearly all were murdered in the Holocaust. But Holocaust education often focuses on Nazi Germany.
From the perspective of the victims, Poland was the country that was most transformed by the impact of the genocide.
In this "interspatial" event, you will be transported there: you will explore the beautiful Galicia Jewish Museum, and hear from its curators about the traces of a culture that was almost entirely wiped out.
This event is available to attend in person at the museum or as a livestream event. Please see website for details.
