Reelin' in the Dan
A night of Steely Dan, performed by Liverpool-based sextet, Reelin' in the Dan, a new collective of young musicians with a love for 70's Jazz Rock. Performing the hits and some deep cuts from the Dan's legendary records.
Reelin' in the Dan are an all new ensemble celebrating the music of Steely Dan, performing songs from the complete discography with nods to legendary live performances of The Dan. While the members have all played together for the past few years with various projects and shows Reelin in the Dan formed in late 2022 after a few late night drives from gigs the six of us eventually realised we had the right team of enthusiastic musicians to put together this project.
Performing the music of Steely Dan is a mammoth task, especially with such a loyal fanbase. Reelin' in the Dan is made up of talented and experienced musicians who are dedicated to recreating the Steely Dan sound as faithfully as possible.
Expect the big hits as well as some lesser known album tracks. Includes songs from 'Can't Buy a Thrill', 'Countdown to Ecstasy', 'Pretzel Logic', 'Katy Lied', 'The Royal Scam', 'Aja' and 'Gaucho'.
