Robin Hood Marathon: The Adventures of Robin Hood

About

Saturday 16th March 2024 |  15:30 screening I
Broadway Cinema | Tickets: Pay What You Feel

Broadway’s first-ever Robin Hood Movie Marathon coincides with Nottingham’s annual Half and Mini Marathon, celebrating the legendary local hero with a day-long lineup of iconic cinematic adventures. The event features classic portrayals from Errol Flynn’s swashbuckling Robin Hood to Kevin Costner’s Prince of Thieves.

For those tapering before a run or simply enjoying extended film marathons, everyone is invited to gather their merry band and join in.

Mid-afternoon, the marathon will showcase Errol Flynn in "The Adventures of Robin Hood," a quintessential swashbuckler and a benchmark for future adaptations of the legend. As Prince John and the Norman Lords oppress the Saxon people during King Richard's absence, Robin Hood emerges as the daring outlaw leader of a resistance movement.

Tickets for all films in the Robin Hood Marathon are Pay What You Feel, allowing attendees to enjoy as many screenings as they wish. Kids are welcome, and there will be family-friendly activities throughout the day.
