Come and enjoy a creative session and learn the art of traditional ring making.
Guided by expert tutor Jo, you will get hands-on with the tools and materials to create a handcrafted ring. All in the relaxing setting of Hanwell Wine Estate. By the end of your session, you will have made 1 stacking ring made with 2mm thick wire.
What you will learn:
Introduction to the tools and materials and how to handle them
Techniques including; hammering to add texture, shaping and sawing
Soldering to create a layered look
Adding the finishing touch of polishing
What is included: – Everything is included, all tools and materials, plus refreshments and snack. Plus, a sneaky little wine tasting if desired only after you have done your soldering though. Nothing to bring, just yourself.
Who is the workshop for: Perfect for beginners or people with experience.
