Monday afternoons from Monday 12 May | 2025 | 2pm - 3.30pm
Broadway Cinema
Price: £60 full / £48 members / £52 concessions / £40 under 25s (includes entry into films and tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival)
Join fellow film enthusiasts to watch and talk about films in Broadway's popular, interactive Talk Cinema course. You'll watch a specially selected film from our cinema programme once a fortnight, then meet with the group on alternate weeks for an in-depth discussion of the previous week's film. Course tutor Andrew Graves will moderate the sessions and provide additional insights and analysis.
The fortnightly films (4 in total) will be specially chosen by our tutor from Broadway's film programme, making varied selections to encourage discussion and possibly broaden your film-watching habits too.
You'll be sent details about the introductory meeting before the first screening in Week 1 after you sign up. Once the film to be discussed is announced on the noticeboard, you can go online (or reserve your ticket at the Box Office) and choose whichever date and screening time suits you best. The group then meets in person every fortnight to discuss the film you've watched.
Please see Broadway website for discussion session dates (films to be watched at your convenience prior to each session).
