In celebration of Big Green Week, join one of Nottingham Central Library's workshops run by Scent with Love or Forestry England.
Scent with Love floristry workshops will include step-by-step instructions as well as tips and tricks for keeping fresh flowers at home, all provided by expert instructor and founder, Lynn Palmer.
Forestry England will be running Clay Printing and Creative Writing workshops.
Clay Printing Drop-In with Forestry England
Wednesday 12 June – 10.30am to 5.30pm
Make your very own clay creation, with a printed design made from natural materials. Choose from an array of items fresh from the forest and take home something unique. You can make a coaster, keyring, hanging decoration, ring bowl or something else entirely – the only limit is your imagination!
This is a drop-in session. No booking required.
Creative Writing with Forestry England
Wednesday 12 June – 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Embrace your natural creativity. In this hour-long workshop, we'll explore poetry and prose using the theme 'nature' to guide and inspire your writing. Ideal for any level of experience, this session will keep you on your toes and celebrate your unique voice, whilst reconnecting you to the earth, the forests and wildlife. Challenge yourself to have fun with words and maybe learn something new in the process!'
Free event but booking is required.
Seasonal Hand tied Bouquet Workshop
Saturday 15 June – 10am to 11.30am
Learn to make a Hand tied bouquet using fresh seasonal flowers to take home in a presentation box. Learn how to spiral the stems and how to keep flowers fresher for longer. Suitable for beginners.

Summer Wreath
Saturday 15 June – 12pm to 1.30pm
Learn to make a summer wreath on a 12 inch wreath ring using fresh seasonal flowers to adorn your front door or use as a table centrepiece. Tips on how to create seasonal wreaths and how to keep them fresh.

Learn to make a fresh flower crown on a wire with ribbon using delicate fresh flowers to wear for any occasion.
