The Jeff Brown Sextet – Phrase and Fable

The Jeff Brown Sextet (JBS), presents 'Phrase and Fable', a programme of Jeff's own compositions, each drawing inspiration from traditional sayings and stories. The music intertwines short themes and improvisations, taking the audience on a journey through a range of jazz styles.

The Jeff Brown Sextet (JBS), presents 'Phrase and Fable', a programme of Jeff's own compositions, each drawing inspiration from traditional sayings and stories. The music intertwines short themes and improvisations, taking the audience on a journey through a range of jazz styles.
Trumpeter Jeff Brown is originally from Derbyshire and now is based in London. His performing career has included numerous appearances at internationally acclaimed jazz clubs as well as touring and recording with major artists such as Jools Holland. Jeff's trumpet playing has been featured on tracks played on radio and television programmes, such as BBC Radio 1, BBC 1 and BBC 2.
