The Ultimate Celebration of Carlos Santana returns to Nottingham Arts Theatre this September.
Very Santana present a musical time‑travel experience featuring the beautiful guitar melodies and creatively diverse, challenging songs of Carlos Santana. The band consists of highly skilled and musically educated musicians who perform these pieces with exceptional authenticity.
Hundreds of independent reviews praise the virtuoso musicianship on display, with audiences frequently noting the delight of witnessing these performers play with such passion. The band delivers live concert versions enriched with improvisation, ensuring each performance feels fresh and full of surprises. Many fans travel far and wide to follow their journey and enjoy the distinctive "Santana Experience" they create.
This live production spans the entire Carlos Santana legacy — from early Abraxas classics such as Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va and Samba Pa Ti, through late‑70s hits including Europa and She's Not There, to modern Grammy‑winning favourites such as Smooth and Maria Maria.
Very Santana recreate the guitar master's live sound with remarkable accuracy, using all‑analogue, warm, valve‑driven guitars and amps, supported by drums, bass, Hammond organ and rich percussion. Singer Amera's vocals and stage presence add the final flourish to this unique musical experience.
This gig sold out on its previous visit to Nottingham Arts Theatre.
