Vineyard Tour And Tastings

About

Multiple Dates | 2024 | 11am & 2pm
Wolds Wine Estate, Thurlby lane, Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Keyworth, Nottingham
£22

Venture down for a 2024 tour of the Estate. You will be guided around the Estate and provided an informal tasting of locally produced wines and the Estate-made craft cider. You will explore the cider orchard and vineyard whilst enjoying stops along the way to taste wine and learn about viticulture and life on the Estate. Their first wines will be released at some point in Spring / Summer of 2024 and once available these will feature in the tours.

The tours and tastings will be held on Saturdays starting at 11am and 2pm (2pm from June) and last roughly 1 and a half hours. They will include:

A tour of the Orchard discussing the importance of traditional orchards and the UK cider scene

An overview of the beehives and the role of bees to the Estate

An up-close view of the vineyard with details of English viticulture

A tasting during and after which will include generous tasters of 5 local wines and their Estate cider

After the tour you are free to explore and take photos on your own. Wines and cider can be purchased after the tour on the day.
