WITHIN: Promoting positive wellbeing and healthy habits from within your own home
Set aside an hour for arts & crafts fun in this session of Nonsuch Studios WITHIN series.

About the Session:
Join puppeteer and puppet maker Katie Sommers and be guided step by step to make your very own tabletop puppet out of simple materials from around the home.

No special tools will be needed and no previous experience in puppet making is necessary! To promote green theatre and craft, there will be the utilisation of recycled objects and basic craft materials, and this puppet craft is relaxed and easy to follow along.

Puppet making is a fantastic way to get absorbed into a craft, creating a little creature that you can then bring to life, and is a great environment to meet new people and learn from each other's creative ideas.

You will be taught puppeteer's warm-ups, the principles of puppetry and performance techniques to truly lose yourself in the magic of the artform.
