Love is in the air this Valentine's Day in Nottinghamshire

With Valentine’s Day less than a fortnight away, treat your own Maid Marian or Robin Hood to an unforgettable experience in Nottinghamshire. If you're anything like me, you may not want the usual candle-lit dinner and movie - so we're lucky that Nottinghamshire has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a quick stroll or a day-long hike, there are many trails which take you through this enchanting area. Alternatively, make sure you find time to visit Snowsdrops at Hodsock - it might even inspire you to pop the all-important question! And of course, you can enjoy a gentle stroll through Sherwood Forest where Robin wooed his love 'beneath the greenwood tree' before they supposedly tied the knot at St Mary’s Church in the nearby village of Edwinstowe.
