Local companies support the ‘Law and Order... More Beer Festival’ at the Galleries of Justice Museum

Beer drinkers from across the county will come together on Sat 24 September for a free festival organised by the Galleries of Justice Museum. On offer at the festival, which will take place in the courtyard and original police station at the Galleries of Justice Museum, will be thirty ales and eight ciders all expertly selected by CAMRA. Those attending will also be able to enjoy food, live music and ghost tours around the museum which has previously been voted the most haunted building in the UK. Now in its fourth year, the ‘Law and Order… More Beer Festival’ will be sponsored by Alea Casino and local company APH Electrics Ltd. Steve Glynn from Alea Casino said: “We have supported the beer festival since it started and are keen to continue to do so. I applaud the great educational work that is carried out with young people at the Galleries of Justice Museum which enables them to learn about the law and justice system, helping them to stay away from crime and out of prison.” Andy Hickling and Paul Hodgson, founders of APH Electrics Ltd said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting this event. We do a lot of work with the Galleries of Justice Museum and we are always impressed with what they offer – both their learning activities for young people and also their additional fun events for adults such as this. We hope that the Law and Order More Beer Festival will encourage even more people to go and experience what the museum has to offer.” As well as being open to the public on Sat 24 September, the festival is also popular with Nottingham’s legal community with a private event being held on Fri 23 September hosted by the Nottinghamshire Law Society. As well as enjoying what’s on offer, over 20 of its members will sponsor the individual pins.
