The annual Remembrance Sunday parade and wreath laying will also take place on Sunday at the city’s war memorial on Victoria Embankment. Spectators are very welcome but are asked to maintain social distancing wherever possible. To help with this, there will be a large screen on Victoria Embankment for you to watch the ceremony, so you don’t miss anything.

The Nottingham Comedy Festival kicks off this weekend, offering over 100 comedy gigs at various venues across the City. Catch a local, national, or international performer specialising in stand-up, improv, sketches and more! Festival regulars such as Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre, Adele Cliff, Daniel Nicholas and Alfie Moore are all back on the stage with their brand-new shows as well as top names such as Tim Minchin, Aaron Simmonds, Ignacio Lopez and Catherine Bohart.
